04 - LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS BELOW ABOUT NOPI/HIN = I have gone to many Hot Import Nights shows in the past and always had a good time until I went to a NOPI show. I have been to smaller car shows that were more organized and had a friendlier atmosphere. My wife and I sat through scorching hot weather and down pour only to find that NOPI decided not to give out trophies. That's when we realized that NOPI was a total waste of our time and money. I can assure you that I will never go to ANY future NOPI shows as we telling EVRYONE i know NOT to waste their time and money as well. I have posted my experiences regarding NOPI on the NICO forums as I am an administrator and moderator. If you do not know, NICO.com is THE largest Nissan and Infiniti Car Club world wide. We have more than 270,000 supporting members and I assure you, the word is out about NOPI world wide! I have no doubt in my mind that if not for the efforts of Luis and other members of New Image Car Club, NOPI would have left the trophies in the box and left the fair grounds and gone to then next city.

We (Import Face-Off) are a 100% legitimate A+ rated BBB accredited Import car show promotion company, but to this day, are unable to book certain venues because of track management saying "another Import event is just not worth the risk" (referring to past Nopi events). I should have known it was going to be a disaster when I was screwed over last year in September '09 by HIN when they canceled the Rivalary NIghts show @ State College with out telling anyone and never REFUNDING my $65 registration fee for that. How much money did they get off with for that show?!!!!

I feel that NOPI should look at their past ventures and realize that people are not going to show at an event with half the show part missing.HIN alone did better @ Englishtown last year over this venture with NOPI.I just feel everything that NOPI involves their selves in always turn into disaster the failed sport compact series with the NHRA after having your own series,the redline time attack last year and now with HIN if you really want ppl to come out to your events charge cheaper prices for both spectating and shows I mean the economy is still screwed OVER we are not rich ppl who can throw money for these shows

We all paid good money to show our cars that we put so much time and effort into. As for the Sunday awards it was horrendous. To say they would mail them out when their own paperwork said rain or shine and if you were not present you would not receive an award. As most of us sat through a downpour and waited for a long time just to hear them pull names out of a hat. I am not sure how you could judge when I know he judged my car at 9pm in the dark the first day. I WILL NOT attend another NOPI event in the future.

I don't know what there problem is but it doesn't take a month to get tropkies out to winners. The show generated a ton of money for Nopi. I don't know how they will ever over come this disaster. Their reputation in the show circuit is shot. They only hope theyu have is to make good on the trophies a.s.a.p. and provide some kind of incentive for future shows?! STILL WAITING BUT IT DON'T LOOK GOOD FOR EVER GETTING A TROPHY FROM THEM?!?!?!?!?!?
